"I had a renters insurance plan with Megan O’Connell State Farm, and the experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. When my lease for my apartment ended in May, I canceled my renters insurance and was supposed to receive a refund for the remaining amount. That was nearly six months ago, and I have yet to see a dime. Despite numerous assurances from both the office and corporate that the refund check was sent out on three separate occasions, nothing has ever arrived. To make matters worse, they haven’t provided any tracking information or updates. Communication has been abysmal—it’s like they completely forgot about me after the initial cancellation. The customer service is horrendous and completely ineffective. The only time Megan O’Connell personally reached out to me was after I left a negative review—four months into the issue. She assured me that they would resolve the problem and asked me to delete my nasty review. Well, that was clearly a lie because nothing has changed. In fact, now Megan isn’t even responding anymore. I called the office twice to speak to her and wrote her an email, which led to nothing. This company is a joke and a waste of time. Their handling of this situation feels entirely fraudulent, and I would strongly advise anyone to stay away. Do not sign up for anything with Megan O’Connell State Farm. It’s been the most frustrating and dishonest experience I’ve ever dealt with. If I could give them negative stars, I would."
